Love is a Supernova

"Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun."
~John Lennon

When a star sings the blues
man it sure is a glorious sight

like a tear soaked guitar
that you hear with your eyes

There is a certain rhythm
like the beating of the heart

It pulses ever outward
beyond galaxies of stars.

So hush my lost lover
no need to explain

My love is a supernova
and your love flies like a plane.

  2. I could absolutely slow dance to your poem! I read aloud, and repeated these two lines over and over: "like a tear soaked guitar/that you hear with your eyes".

    Enchanting!

  5. Carrie,

These words sang to me, perhaps a sad lilt, but it had life within it, as does your poem! Hearing the music with eyes if fantastic...it can be done..

    Happy Weekend,
