Pickles and Peace on the Side

"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed.  Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude."
  ~Denis Waitley

I am life partake of me
I am at your service
I am your maitre-de
I am the menu
within your hands
the choice is yours
what will you have?
Today's special is
happiness on rye
with pickles and peace
on the side
or would you rather
have discontent
with a cup of soup?
It's time to order
it's up to you?

  6. We do get--no, have--to choose our feelings. Well done!

By the way, I saw a poem elsewhere that reminded me of your blog. Maybe you'll like it:
