Red Spot II, Wallisy Kandinsky
"I think miracles exist in part as gifts and in part as clues that there is something beyond the flat world we see."
~ Peggy Noonnan
Sometimes we wander through this life distracted by all the mundane,
losing sight of what truly matters, like viewing abstract art we cannot explain.
Gods beautiful artwork is all around us, and miracles could lay at our feet,
yet, we stumble over the obvious not recognizing what could be seen.

So true. We can see beauty everywhere if we only take the time to look for it.
ReplyDeletei would agree...its all in what we allow to steer our eyes...
ReplyDeleteYep ... you got it right!
ReplyDeleteWe should all open our eyes as see the beauty that surrounds us.

Truly thought out, Carrie. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAH PERCEPTIONS OF REALITY... WHAT TS IS IT? WHAT IS IT NOT?
ReplyDeleteGREAT REFLECTION, MY DEAR FRIEND
lovely indeed...we just need to look and it will all become clear..xx
ReplyDeletegood inspiration
ReplyDeleteTrue - seems like people are looking inside instead of out.
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie, your blogs are thought provoking and I enjoyed browsing around. You have some fine insight to share. I will definitely be back for more inspiration.
ReplyDeletein the eye of the beholder!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...
ReplyDeleteOnce again...gorgeous and profound! Thank-you for reminding me of this...the van is sitting in the driveway with the side bashed in...it's all I seem to see no matter where I look;) Thankfully it is still drive-able because we need it!
ReplyDeleteAs long as we keep an open mind and heart anything's possible! I love this inspiration... song, too.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree Carrie! Someone (maybe Einstein) said we can either view life as if nothing is a miracle or as if everything is. I'm with you - everything!
ReplyDeleteYour words are never abstract and you always point to the miraculous. Thanks Carrie for helping we blind to see.
ReplyDelete(not off-line yet, sometime today though)
Sometimes it is hard to realize that we need to get out of our own way, and let miracles happen.

Beauty is in the eye.... You see it because you choose to, Carrie.
ReplyDeleteThere are far too many distractions in our modern world and it takes a certain kind of discipline to focus on the things that really matter.
ReplyDeleteWonderful truth Carrie - and beautiful chick photo
ReplyDeletebest wishes Isabel
It is often wise to ask ourselves what are we missing---thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie! Thank you for your visit to my blog and kind words. Yes, there are miracles and healings all around us. If we would only take hold of them!
ReplyDeleteReally Carrie, you MUST write a motivational book. You see beauty and light like no one else. You already have the title of the book - Hope Whispers.
ReplyDeleteYes, this is so true..I guess that is why I like to paint not really photo realism but add some abstractions. Somehow there needs to be a "stop and look" button on daily life.I will give my age as I say that the old Dick and Jane books were slow and today kids learn from flashes on a TV. I think the slower pace, as a child, was an advantage, life moves to fast today and some do not even know what they are missing.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much we can miss, even with our eyes wide open!
ReplyDeleteoh Carrie...I love this. I love the picture that goes with these so true words. Hope the rest of your day shines....
ReplyDeleteTrue and beautiful !
ReplyDeleteTo see the beautiful we have to have beauty in our hearts...
ReplyDeleteI think of it as 'catching glimpses of heaven in unexpected places'. And I can see from my wee visit that you know how to look for that beauty that's all around us.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed my first time visit to your hope-filled blog.
I like the quote you posted by Peggy Noonnan.
Wishing you a beautiful day and grace for the journey........
True. Sometimes a dose of abstraction is good, too. Beauty really is all around us.
ReplyDeleteWell said. And I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a complex world, it is probably beyond most of us to understand every expression of life. Wonderful insights here. Thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteStrong image, concise message. Will carry that one around awhile.
