"Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~Confucius
Beauty is at its most brilliant
when touched by the hands of the blind.
No mirror can capture it.
Nor eye behold it completely
without suffering from sightlessness
the eye with a keen spectacle view
only envisions what is amiss.
That is a very beautiful way of seeing, where intuition comes into play...
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful was to "see" this image.
ReplyDeletei love that opening line...and makes me think of the blind man that used to tune our piano and i would sit and watch as he fascinated me...
ReplyDeleteOften the blind can "see" what the sighted miss.
ReplyDeleteI love the first 2 lines- so true.
ReplyDeletethanks for visiting!
This is lovely. Would that we all could be less judgmental.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Carrie. This is slightly off topic, but I once went to Scotland to visit, and at the castle in Edinburgh they had replicas of all the crown jewels in bronze, sitting out so that blind visitors could run their hands over them and know what they 'look' like. That struck me as so very thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteI wish we could look straight into the heart, as God does.
ReplyDeleteWonderful opening line...
ReplyDeleteCarrie,

So true, there is so much that can not be seen with eyes, but only with vision and sight. Beautifully captured.
